Una-Lube is a synthetic dental handpiece lubricant and cleaner designed for use with all brands, makes and models of handpieces. High speeds, low speeds, scalers, hygiene handpieces, electric handpieces, implant handpieces, and contra angles. Una-Lube will extend the life of your handpiece- Guaranteed !
Most dental handpiece lubricants on the market today are simple mineral oil that break down quickly in the hostile environment of the autoclave and do little to protect your handpiece. Dental handpieces are one of the fastest moving things on Planet Earth, running upwards of 400,000 Rpms ( about 6600 Rpms every second ) They are delicately balanced, intricate machines that need proper lubrication and cleaning to continue to work for you. Most other lubricants do not do the job. Una-Lube's synthetic formula not only stands up to the heat of the autoclave and makes a molecular bond with the surface of the bearing, but is actually activated by heat. As important is the added cleaner in Una-Lube. Contaminants work their way into the handpiece every time you take your foot off the pedal ( suck-back ) If not cleaned and expelled with a lubricant with a contact cleaner, these contaminants get "cooked" onto the internal parts of your drill and break the delicately balanced cycle of the turbine, which starts degradation of the bearings. The degradation cycle continues because the turbine is no longer balanced, until finally there is complete failure. Using Una-Lube, you are cleaning these contaminants out of the turbine housing, and then applying a protective coating of synthetic lubricant to maintain a healthy running handpiece.
It can be used on any handpiece - Just use the appropriate straw or nozzle from whatever handpiece you have, and you are guaranteed to extend the life of your handpieces .
